Your own bot
Why you need it and how to connect it
Posts are published by your own bot. This spreads the load evenly, and your channel shows your bot instead of PosterBot.
- Open @BotFather and send /newbot.
- Choose a name and a username — the username must end with «bot».
- Copy the token from @BotFather's reply.
- In the app open «Channels» → «Add channel» or «Settings» → «My bots» and paste the token.
The token is your bot's password. Share it with nobody but PosterBot. The app keeps it on the server and never shows it.
